    Text size on 'Smart' theme

Feeling a bit braver after successfully upgrading to V7 with all your help and am now looking to change themes. I like the basic 'smart' theme but would like the text bigger throughout my site. Is there a simple , novice proof way of altering this?

Yes alter the size in actinic.css using Notepad or Dreamweaver

You will find this in the Site 1 folder.

You might have to copy the file into PreviewHTML.

As Gary says, you need to edit a file called 'actinic.css'. If you get into trouble, never fear as you can get hold of an untouched one from your 'Actinic v7\Formats\Themes\Smart' folder on your PC.

To access the actinic.css file, go to 'Advanced | Template Manager'. If you are looking at a blue and white template manager click 'Change View' to see the grey one with buttons.

Go to the 'Miscellaneous' tab and click 'CSS Files'. Click 'Edit'.

I would replace all references to '10px' with '12px'.

        Hi Gary and Chris,

Many thanks for this. You make everything seem so easy. I'm really pleased with the results. While I'm on a roll is there a way to alter the bit that says Online store to my own name or is this best left alone!?

Once again, really appreciate your help.

Please ignore the last request. I was looking for the text 'online store' but now realise it's the logo.gif file.
