One Product displayed over several sections

Is it possible to display one product but use it in several sections.

I would then like to be able to only update the master product and the copies of it in each other section are automatically updated in their respective sections.

There are a couple of ways of doing this

the easiest way is to get V7 as this allows the product to be feature in more than one place

but in V6 you need to create the main product, then create you copies all will need a different part number though, then on these copy ones you need to add a componant, then open the component and associate this to the master product, tick the boxes that apply, this will give you the product in any location you want simply copy 1 of the duplicates and paste it were you want, you will then beasked to change the part number ad a -1 -2 -3 e.t.c or what ever you need to give it a unique number. remembr to tick componant as a seperate order line then the master product will appear on the order, if this is greyed out, go back to the product details, click on componants and change the box to read sum of coponants and tick no orderline for main product.
