Individual component weighting

Hello all

Does anyone know of a way to attach different product weights to different components and attributes?

Say I have a group of candles which in a perfect world I would like to offer as a single product with different colours, different sizes and ideally different weights. The first two elements I can handle but what about weights?

Is there a way of making the different sizes equate to different postage?

The way I would do it, would be to create different products for the different items in question - then I would tick the 'Hide On Website' box.

I would put all the price details and weight in the relevant product, when this product is created I would then choose the relevant product from the drop-down list in the component list. whilst choosing 'Associated product pricing' from the 'pricing' option.

There may be easier ways, but this is the one that I use.
