Smart Theme Modifying

Just downloaded the 30 day trial of V7 and I am enjoying playing around with it, especially the smart theme - nice work who ever designed that.

Anyway Im trying to remove the sub-section links in the lefthand side menu bar, all i want is the main sections to be displayed, is this possible ?
