ssl pages warning showing non secure items

Same as before, not sure how it was `cured` last time. When going into the checkout the warning `shows secure and non-secure` items.

I think its possibly because of the tracking script in one the templates, but I'm not sure which one, or what I did to erase it.

There may be something else as well though.

If anyone reads this and has a look at the site I wouldn't mind comments on the text size, is it okay or would it be better a little larger?

    Hi George

The text is a little small, you do have a lot of it so making it bigger might make your page a bit combersome, though as I'm getting on a bit it might be I need new glasses.

Also the picture in the lefthand FH Site of the Month box is not showing.

You have a dark green bar on the right side of your logo that unbalances your top line, I have managed to remove it in my logo by making default logo image color to be #ffffff (white), in all the Act_primary files.

    Hope this helps

      Thanks for the reply Ian.

Have adjusted the bg colour, now have the line under the text links a little thicker than the one above. How can I make them the same?

Pic's etc should be sorted soon, still working on the boxes.

Jury is out on the text size at the moment.Replies still appreciated.

And my original question is still valid.

          Hi George

to make the line thiner search for this in Act_primaries just below the logo image section.

          <img src="shim.gif" height="3">

change the height to 1 and you will get a line the same thickness as the top one.

I'm on my way to get new glasses!

            George,

Text does seem a little on the small side (mind you, we're using 1280 x 1024 resolution on our screens), I think at lower resolutions it should be fine.

Noticed that the Quick search "GO" icon is same colour as the background and therefore invisible.

We also had a problem with the secure/insecure warning in the past and it happened because of a link to an external graphic being present on our secure page. When the page gets created on visitor's screens, their browsers find the external link pointing to an insecure page and generate the warning. We got around it by grabbing the external graphic of their website and uploading a copy with our store. Try taking the link off temporarily to test whether this is the problem in your instance.

It looks like quite a few of us will have grabbed hold of the only really rather professional theme shipping with Actinic, ours is still in testing at http://www.between.co.uk/acatalog/test/acatalog/

Hope your sales have not suffered by England's early exit!

                Hi

If you change the color of the logo background in Act_primary (and not in Design/Colours) all other colours remain unchanged, so the search go button stays visible.

                  Hi Darren,
Haven't got a copy of V7 installed at the office I'm at right now but I think it was the SMART theme - George may be able to say for sure if he's got access to his installation at this point. Otherwise I can let you know tonight.

Your site seems to some custom stuff though, don't envy you changing themes!

                    Yes, its the Smart theme.

The Confirm, Checkout and Cancel buttons were also `unseeable` so just copied and pasted our old ones into the site one folder.

Florian, good stuff on the `between` sites. Big difference on the new one. There's a thread a little earlier where Chris explains how to customise the left and right boxes. Worth a look I'd say.

I saw that one - really helpful as using customvars is a little cumbersome I think, especially as the entry boxes for them are a little small - makes changes to long text rather fiddly. I guess you could edit longer text in notepad, upload the file and link it as a file instead of typing it directly into the tiny customvar box.

Ideally I would like to add a couple more boxes but havn't worked out how to do this yet (if at all possible as customvars are involved)

I also asked about this and the answer was to copy and paste.

But that keeps the customvar name the same, so I did not venture any further into this.

Feel free to investigate and let me know how you get on though.

I've actually created an interesting insert for one of the boxes (rh). It should be online soon.

there is a far bit of customise stuff in there, but i feel it needs a new look, but this is for the next couple of months though, as i have developer i can create the new theme/site then import it into my existing one

i have had this look for 18 months now, with a few minor changes made in between

                          Cheers

I've had another look today and it does seem that the Euro 2004 graphic on your cart page is the culprit. If you say YES to 'Display both secure and insecure items' the graphis is there, if you say NO, the link is still active but the graphis is gone. Grab a copy of the picture, upload it to your site and refer to it in the URL link.

The said image is in the acatalog folder, same as the logo1.gif.
