v7 status?

I'm confused about the status of v7. The 7.0.1 link in this forum takes you to a page that says beta testing is over. The main trial download page from actinic.co.uk takes you to a page with 7.0.0 which says 7.0.1 will be along soon. A message yesterday said to expect the main release within hours.

Can someone please clarify the situation? I'd like to be using coupons asap!

When you looked yesterday, we were in the process of updating the site. Hence the confusion. Sorry about that.

eh, Chris,

There are no plans for further v7 releases in the short term - we expect v7.0.1 to stand as the production version for some time.

What's happened to the modified FTP upload that's been promised?

That will come in 7.0.2 - but there are lots of other enhancements and additions to 7.0.2 which will mean that it will take a little while to produce. Hence the fact that 7.0.1 will remain the main production release for some time.

We don't really want to pepper the market with lots of little maintenance releases. We would much rather release a small number of significant key upgrades.
