Domain name change and actinic ssl

Using catalog v6

I initially set up my site under www.recellbattery.com but now would like to change the main domain name to www.tool-shop.co.uk. My host has implemented a host header - so far so good.

What do I have to do to ensure tool-shop.co.uk etc remains in the browser bar when the actininc ssl is utilised.

Is it as simple as changing the details in Advanced Network Setup?

Hi Simon,

If you want to retain 'tool-shop.co.uk' in the browser bar while entering Products page, you need to have 'acatalog' folder in that URL. And your Catalog URL in 'Advanced | Network setup' should be
'http://www.tool-shop.co.uk/acatalog/'

And, if you are utilising Actinic Shared SSL, you cannot retain your website URL in the address bar, as it would change to 'https://secure.actinic.com/cgi-bin/…'

Also, you need to inform Actinic Support about your new domain name, to change the Actinic secured service to your new domain name.

what's the turnaround time when informing support of the change?

is there a potential for missing orders when the changes are being effected?
