    price adjust - offline order

    Hi Folks

Hopefully this is a simple question

we have prices on our website and also have a store. in the store the prices vary per item. we would like to adjust the price when making the offline order. at the moment it seems we need to use percentages however we would rather change each item price by amount

    example

    Item 1 - £3
    Item 2 - £5

    change them easily to

    Item 1 - £2
    Item 2 -£6

and print out the invoice also at the same time successfully having moved the stock from our inventory

I know there is an answer out there

    TIA

    To making adjusments

    Hi there Aza

Well the way of doing the adjusments can be made as a price rather than is

basically you goto the VIEW tab at the top and then goto the discount and settings from there you have the option to change from the percentage to the amount in a drop down in the ORDER LEVEL tab in there the drop down is on the right hand side from there you are now able to deduct in value rather than percentage

The other possibility is to have a different set of products in your store just for offline orders - with them set at the price you need them for offline orders.

You can select 'Hide on Web Site' for each product so that they do not appear in the online store.

        Thank you for your answers

the only problem is 'setting' the price as the price per item fluctuates per order.

I would have thought you could have adjusted the price where the order is made - instead it is darkened out.

it would also make sense for the customer to see that out of 10 items ordered item 5 was given at a reduced cost and not have an overall -/+

i still think there must be a workaround

        TIA

Can I just clarify what you mean by this? :
in the store the prices vary per item.
What is the rule that governs how much the price varies by?

Is it based on how many of an item the customer buys? If so, then Actinic Business v7 supports 'quantity-dependent pricing' where you can set a different price per item depending on how many the customer orders.

Or is the variation based on other factors - such as "buy any two of these, and get this at a reduced price"? If so, then that sort of discount is available from the 'View | Discounts and Surcharges Settings | Cart Contents' tab in Actinic Business.

If, however, the price just needs to be set differently from order to order, with no formula or rule, then this is not possible.

I guess maybe he means someone walks into the shop and says 'I can get that down the road for $6' and so they end up selling it for $5.

In circumstances like that (and price match offers, etc) it would be handy to be able to over-ride the the normal price. It's far clearer to everybody what's going on if the receipt shows the discounted price rather than just showing a $1 discount on the total.
