    WebTrends Javascript tagging

Hello again - apologies for 2 posts in as many minutes.

I am looking to integrate WebTrends Javascript tagging into my Actinic site - WT has some great analysis of where and why people drop out of the buying process. Has anyone successfully acheived this already?

My strategy is to a) add an include to the WT generic script + CustomVAR placeholder to the Act_Primary template and b) edit the CustomVAR field for each product/page to include the appropriate WT tags.

Does this sound like the correct way to proceed?

    Thanks

    Hi Ed

Honestly I dont have much knowledge as to how WT javascripts work. But it looks like you are on the right track, also remember that if the JavaScript code is too long to manage properly in the 'Value' field, then you will have to save it in a text file and then use the filename of the text field as the value for the custom property (but ensure you select 'Is File Name' and 'Use File Contents').

    Cheers
