mail order & digital download orders

Hi,

I have set up my site and it all works using worldpay etc. I have one product on it so far and it is available to buy as a digital download or as mail order (the digital download has extra tracks so there is a slight difference). I can purchase it no problem as a single mail order or as a single digital download, but when i try to purchase them together i get told that i have selected the maximum amount allowed. Ie if i buy the digital download and add to basket then add the mail order i get told i have selected the maximum amount of the digital download and vice versa. i dont want to set them up as seperate products as i wan them set up as an easy choice and the possibility to buy together if so be.

Hi

For a Digital Download product, the maximum quantity is by default set to 1, and hence cannot be added under two different options to the shopping cart.

The easy option for you would be to create a duplicate product as you have suggested.
