    OCCUpgrade.ini Missing?

    A client is seeking to configure a Version 6 (previously upgrade from a V3 licence) to work with Protx and has followed the instructions, except there appears to be no OCCUpgrade folder and no file OCCUpgrade.ini in which to change the version number. The Protx upgarde files are not resulting in Protx appearing in the Payment Provider lists.

    Sorry if this is a bit vague. Any thoughts?

    Hi Bernie

    The path to the OCCUpgrade folder should typically be this : C:\Program Files\Actinic Ecommerce v6\OCCUpgrade (above the Original folder). If the folder is not there, you will need to reinstall V6 and the PSP patch as well.

    Once this is done, browse into the OCCUpgrade folder and double click on the CommonOCC folder. Find a file named : OCCPROTXScriptTemplate.pl. Right click on it and open it in a text editor like Notepad.

    Find the line : my $sPassword = 'testvendor';

    Change testvendor to the secret key provided by PROTX. Save the file and refresh the site (from Web | Refresh Website).
