Any changes to VAT?

Hi,

I was wondering if anything had been done in V7 to try and correct the problem where VAT inclusive prices are out by a penny due to rounding?

It would be most handy just to have 3 decimal places - then you could match up prices in Actinic with whatever system you're using.

I have the same problem with VAT and it's a royal pain - in my accounts I can set £2.99 to be £2.544 (£2.55 giving £3.00) but in Actinic I can't, so have to use custom VAT and they still never match.

As we sell low/mid value items (but lots of them per order) this can amount to quite a few pence discrepancy on some orders and the only way I can fix it (since I use my accounts package to maintain my stock and sales receipts) is to adjust the p&p amount - not good.

Surely it can't be that hard to allow 3 decimal places instead of 2?

Hi there

I'm afraid there have not been any changes on how Actinic calculates the VAT in v7. You still have the same issues.

We are very aware of the issue and are looking at ways to improve it.
