    Snapshot Import Fatal Error

I am preparing V7 for for our production publish.

On the test PC, I have installed V7 and upgraded our V6 site.
I have tweaked the site and uploaded it to a test location and verified it works as desired.
I am now getting ready to install V7 on the production PC.

I have made a site snapshot of the V7 site and wanted to practice importing it on the Test PC.

    I get a message box:
    "an invalid argument was encountered"

    and..
    Summary Report:
    The operation was aborted.

    There is 1 Error
    detail:
    Errors
(File ThemeExport.cpp, Line 1712) - The parent theme Layout01 is missing from the import

I cannot find anything called Layout01 in either V6 or V7.
The closest name I can find is:
    c:\program files\Actinic V7\formats\themes\Layout1

    help!

    Hi Eileen

When you exported the snapshot did it go through properly? Because if there was an original theme missing you would have got an error and would have had to abort the process. I suggest you export a new snapshot and see if you can import it.

    Cheers

      Hi Kiran,
I had no problem exporting the snapshot.

I ended up sending the snapshot to James Matthews at Actinic, who managed to tweak it to get it to work. He said he got it to work by compressing the database.

He sent the 'improved' version of the snapshot back to me and I was able to import it successfully.

We are hoping to do the production V7 publish on Friday am.... but first must bet the production PC upgraded.

      cheers,
