    Live stock control

We have set up a Catalog store (currently on test) which sells souvenirs and have been offered the opportunity to sell seats on short daily coach trips around our local city.

As Catalog does not support "live" updating of stock we have had to refuse because the number of seats are finite and clearly we could end up with many unhappy customers.

Do Actinic have any future plans to include "live" updating in their software or has anybody any ideas of a workaround.

We understand that a competitor of Actinic has apparently included such an important feature in the latest version of their software.

OS COMMERCE is database driven and therefore live... and it's free!

You can use our One Stop Automation module to improve stock monitoring with Actinic. More details and a free trial at :

Thanks for that. I've downloaded the package and I'll give it a whirl.

          Regards,
Thanks. It will improve stock control but the problem would presumably still exist if orders were placed between downloads however frequently those downloads were made.
