Minimum total quantity

If a page of say 20 items has a single add to cart button is there a way creating a minimum order quantity based not around the single items but from a selection of items off the page?

This is exactly the functionality I need but I would be happy if it were not all on one page with a single cart button.

I note that Chris Dicken said "I will add this to the wish list". Has this made it into V7 ? (if so I can't find it)

Or does anybody have a nice way to implement this feature? The site is being built in V7 Business because we need a separate "Trade" area which is where the minimum quantity is applied.

I'm looking at doing just this on the V6 Forum right now - http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=1731 is the thread. I guess it would be applicable to V7. However the customer could still fiddle with the quantities when later viewing the Cart.

Javascript is not my forte, so I will continue to plug away and try to make that work.
