One Stop Marketing V1.5 for Actinic

From time to time, we like to let you know about useful plug-ins for Actinic developed by our partners.

Here is the latest product news from Mole End Software

One Stop Marketing V1.5 for Actinic

We are pleased to announce the release of One Stop Marketing V1.5 for Actinic.

One Stop Marketing can be used to easily extract customer details from Actinic for use with email marketing tools, contact management systems or mail merges. Using this product makes it easy to keep in touch with your customers and so increases the likelihood of repeat orders.

In this version we have added key features that streamline mailing list production. You can now automatically exclude customers that have asked not be contacted. You can print generated lists to mailing labels, envelopes or reports. You can use additional fields to identify customers. We have also created a one click installation to make it easier to install. It works with Actinic versions 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Jim Riley from tutor2u has been using the product and he says :

"It is one super-charged piece of software if you ever have to communicate with your repeat customers - either by email or snail mail (even fax or SMS if you collect those details). The filtering/selection options are mind-blowing! For example, I wanted contact details for schools who have not yet paid for their subscription to a particular product. Got them in 5 seconds flat. I also needed details of all our recent school customers with a Belfast postcode. It took 2 minutes to extract, export and import the data into a mailmerge. Fantastic!"

Note: This is a replacement for our One Stop Email Marketing product. Existing customers of One Stop Email Marketing (Basic and Advanced versions) can upgrade for free using their existing license by installing the free trial above.

    Nice, but...

Not wanting to stifle free market enterprise, but why doesn't Actinic have a more evolved customer marketing feature built-in?

The ability to communicate en-masse with previous customers about special offers, new product ranges, manage opt-in / out of emails etc through a simple user interface would really advance Actinic's cause imho. The is no dynamic requirement to this, purely a client-side feature that uses the existing order email functionality.

Using newsletter-opt-in submission boxes via a 3rd party as many Actinic shops do is a poor substitute for the real thing...

Can I add this to the wish list??
