Please be gentle this is my first post.

I am unable to update my home page.

I get an old version of my home page when www.blusteryday.co.uk is entered.

It is only once entering the site and clicking back on Home that the new page is displayed. (www.blusteryday.co.uk/acatalog/index.html being shown)

I have tried refreshing the site to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?

If your changes are not being shown until you see the www.blusteryday.co.uk/acatalog/index.html page, then the Home page has not been set to be the home page... Go into the Home page settings and you should see an option for "Use as Home Page", which once enabled will become the home page and anything you place in the form of fragments within the brochure page will be on that home page...

All of the above said.... Both pages look identical so you might want to do a CTRL F5 to get a fresh view not cached copy of the Home page when you visit your domain...
