Components & associated Products

I've set up a product which has a component and 3 choices. The choices are all associated to products which are hidden. I'm doing this as I want to get the product reference downloaded for the choice (I'm planning to use Actinic Link to Sage and in Sage each product variant has a product code and thought this was the only way of doing it in Actinic)

When one of these products is added to the basket I get the hidden product reference as I want, but I also get the product reference for the "main" product which has the choices. As this will give me 2 lines when exported to Sage is there a way of stopping the "main" product being listed and just getting the choice?

Hi There,

You need to change the settings on the main product and component.

For the component, tick 'Component as separate order line'.

On the Components tab of the main product, set the pricing model to 'Sum
of components'. An option then appears 'No order line for main product',
tick this and update the site.
