Problem with Actinic Link to Sage

I'm going through the process of setting up Actinic Link to Sage. All has gone OK except when I place a test order and run the export selectively - it says it exports the order but does not appear to run the Actinic Link - I get no progress bar.

Sure this is something simple I've missed - but am at a loss as to what!

Also when setting up Actinic Link in the Transaction Type Tab - it insists on having something in the Default Customer Ref. If I drop down the list there is only 1 customer (I'm still setting Sage up too) but I don't want all the invoices to be created against that customer - I've told Actinic Link to create new customer records.

    Any suggestions

    Thanks

    Default Client

The manual advises a "default" client be set-up that unregistered customers may shop and the invoice be exported to Sage, as you're running create new customer option I would guess that this isn't a default account you'll ever use.

Trust me, whatever Sage Link says to do ... do ... it bites!

Can't help you with other issue but just make sure you have paths set in your profile to where the data files should be placed for link to import into Sage, compare these to settings in Actinic.

Thanks - created a default internet customer and that's sorted that bit, but Link is still not working - checked paths and they seem fine!

Maybe time for a call to support unless anyone from support on here can help?

      Thanks

Have you entered the name of the 'ActtoSage.exe' executable into the 'Executable to run after export' field in 'Business Settings | Order Processing'?

          Hi Chris

Yes - that is in there.

Could you go to 'Start | Run' in Windows and run the following command line:

            "C:\Program Files\Actinic Link\Sage Line 50\ActToSage.exe"

(or wherever you have installed Actinic Link for Sage)

Does Actinic Link start? If not then it is an issue on your PC. If it does, then it is odd that when you try to do that from Actinic nothing happens. It is probably worth therefore pursuing it with Support.
