Firstly let me apologise if this is a simple question, however I'm new to this.
I do pick things up quickly though, so hopefully this won't be too painful
I have religiously followed the instructions within the advanced users guide. On first impression it would look as though everything was fine. However, when I 'preview the catalog' and go into areas that run the cgi script I get the usual error:-
WARNING!!
The link you selected would normally run a CGI script.
This facility is not available in preview mode.
I don't get the problem if I open a separate web browser and go to the localhost address.
The only thing that would appear to be not quite right when I was running through the troubleshooting section was the check on the War-ftpd. When I get to the directory it is empty and the instructions would seem to indicate that there should be some files listed.
Actually the only other small thing that my well be different is that I'm running an AMD64 and have found some small problems with this, but I'm pretty sure that this isn’t the problem in this instance.
Regards & looking forward to a reply in anticipation
