Upgrading to v7 questions

Hi,
Im currently running a site using Actinic v4 but I'm interested in upgrading to v7 and wondering if someone can answer a few questions.
Is it possible to upgrade from v4 to v7 whilst keeping the site the same/similar?
Currently we contact customers who signup to a separate mailing list, is it possible to add a checkbox on the order page to confirm whether the customer wants their address to be added to the database, and is it possible to contact or get a list of all the e-mail addresses of customers?
Also, I've read about integrating Actinic with Sage and was just wondering how easy this is to do and how effective it is with stock updates?

Hi There,

You can download a free 30 day trial of v7 from here . I suggest you install the software and play around with it. Installing v7 will not overwrite your v4 site. I suggest you upgrade your v4 site while installing v7, both will operate seperately. This will give you the opportunity to check out the features and also have your site (v4) up and operational.

Quick new feature in v7 which might also help, you can upload to your current host without affecting the live site...

Go into Web | Switch to Test mode and it will still upload to your current web address, but under a /acatalog/test/ folder sub-system, so you can see how it will operate online as well...
