Invoice numbers for each site not sequential

    Hi,

I'm curently developing a number of sites and when testing them on my PC using Apache, warftpd etc., I've noticed that the Invoice nos. are not sequential for each site e.g.

    Site 1 Nos. 001, 002, 007, 009
    Site 2 Nos.003, 005
    Site 3 Nos. 004, 006, 008

Is there any way these Invoice Nos. can be made sequential on a site by site basis ?

    Regards,

    Graham

I'm not sure how you're doing this but I'd have thought they should be sequential for each site.

Are you using the same scripts for all the sites? In normal operation each site would have it's own version of the scripts so there shouldn't be a problem.

If you have to use the same location for the scripts then give each sites scripts it's own number to avoid interaction.

Could you please ensure that each site is using a different CGI-Script ID number (in 'Advanced | Network Setup') and each site is also uploading to a different 'acatalog' folder online.

I think the ID number is more likely to be the culprit as if it is the same on each site, each site will be sharing the same set of cgi-scripts.

        Non sequential Invoice Numbers

        Hi Mike & Chis,

Thanks for the replies, I haven't changed any script ID's so it would seem that that is where the problems are coming from. I'm testing both sites on the same PC (not at the same time) so I'll change the ID's and see what happens.

        Many Thanks,

        Graham
