    Off-line order: BUG in Special Delivery Instructions

    We just learned (the hard and painful way) that the Special Delivery Instructions are not getting saved when entering an offline order!

    We expect them to be in the field Order.sUserDefinedShipping... and it is used by our delivery company when no one is at home to receive a package.

    The Special Delivery instructions do not seemed to be saved ANYWHERE!

    We had the experience where a customer in Scotland wasn't home - and because there were no Special Delivery Instructions printed, the carrier brough the package back to Peterborough.... and are expecting us to pay another delivery charge to get this sorted out.

    PLEASE - can we have a fix for this quickly?

    .... and one for the wish list:

    When entering a new offline order for someone who has shopped previously, can we please have the Special Delivery Instructions filled in automatically?

    We would like to have the same fields brought forward from a previous order that are saved if a person says 'Remember me' when doing an on-line order.

      I have added the second post to the wish list and asked the development team if there is a workaround for the first one whilst we wait for the bug to be fixed.

      I will let you know if they come back with anything.
