    Site Design

    Hi,

I'm having to redesign my whole site as its not SE friendly.

The site I have been looking at is

    http://www.motorcycle-parts-and-accessories.co.uk

The products on this site seem to be collapsed, you click on the product it then expands, can this be easily achieved in the catlogue with out any fancy coding?

I've over a 1000 items and would like a simular feel to the site mentioned.

        it depends

if you want to give a bigger picture for detail then have a larger jpeg of the item, but you might to focus on close detail of an item therefore a different jpeg for the customer to see, you can change the size of the display box to whatever size you want I think its a great feature with actinic.

          Sorry for the confusion.

I know how the extended info feature works. You click on text or a image and it loads in a seperate window. This guy has it so it loads in another window but still has the add to basket feature. He must have plained with the template files? its not a standard feature is it?

No it's not a standard feature - but you can read about the necessary template customisations in http://www.drillpine.biz/actinicstuff/

It is a fix provided by Norman Rouxel.

Thanks Chris, i've been working with Actinic for over a year now and thought I was going mad, I don't have such a standard feature.

Ps im not a guru by any means but know a bit about the basic functions.
