    Using Flash for Product Images

Ive built a website called justGlobes which sell a large range of Globes. Alot of the globes come in a number of colours and I wanted to use flash so i could display the differant colours.

One of the products we sell as four differant colours so in order to display all four I made a flash movie with all four globes as thumbnails and when you click on one of the thumbnails a larger version is shown above.

I wanted to put this flash movie in the product image box but it only allows you to display gifs, jpegs and png files.

Is there anyway I can change some code in Actinic which will allow me use the flash file?

It dosen't matter how complecated it is I should be able to do it.

I have a script that can change the details in Actinic using a Flash file.

Send an e-mail off list if you wish to discus this.

That sounds perfect, how big is the script?

3 lines in the swf and about 10 in the product template.

You can only have 1 product on the page though.

You can see an example HERE

Is there any other ways of doing it?

Yes. I posted something regarding dynamic display of product images. That allows you to have a thumbnail image with each choice and the main image to change when that choice is selected.
