locking frame

Hi there, i'm new to using actinic. I'm just building our first on-line store and am trying to master getting the right look for our site.

Is it possible to lock the left frame(s) so it doesnt resize itself when you drag the browser window

Hi Richard

This will happen if the side bar is blank. If you view the shop pages, the right hand bar having the Cart items to display does not resize itself whereas the left one does.

Try inserting any navigation items on the left bar, for e.g., Quick Search to see the difference

is there an easy way to do this with out changing themes ?

You can insert images or navigation links in the left bar using the existing theme. The templates you would need to edit are Act_BrochurePrimary.html and Act_Primary.html. The basic idea is to cover the span of the side bar so that it doesn't allow itself to be resized.


(Please do remember to take back-ups of any templates that you wish to modify)
