Coupon Code Discounts, Reuse

Just getting ready to snapshot our v6 store into my new v7. Doing a little more exploring of v7's features and differences...

The primary reason we bought v7 is because of the new coupon discount feature. But it seems from initial observation that a shopper could use the same code over and over. We want to use the same code for many different shoppers but allow only ONE USE of the coupon per shopper.

This must be possible to configure in v7, right? It seems very basic to the operation of discount coupons.

Hi there

I'm afraid you will not be able to do this with coupons. Please note a coupon is not a voucher, which i believe is what you want.

A Voucher is simply a form of payment, that you can only use once.
A coupon is a way of activating a discount.

I know a lot of people would like the feature of a voucher in that case... could this be added to the wishlist?

It shouldn't be too hard to implement now the discounting stuff is in there...
