Logout In Navigation

When someone enters the catalog on the website they are given the login link within the navigation actinic generates. This is great as the user can go to the login page anywhere within the catalog. However, when they have logged in - the login link disappears. How would I instead have a logout link put in there for when they have logged in.

If this is not possible as the navigation is only generated depending on the DESIGN -> OPTIONS -> NAVIGATION options selected - I could take out the login link in the actinic navigation and instead have 2 buttons for logging in and out which will be inserted within the act-login page. When the user is not logged in the logout button will be hidden and the login not and vica versa for logged in users. If this is possible what is the syntax I need to put in?
