Disabling Search and Hiding Site Map

I'm currently developing a local catalogue via Actinic which is basically a sub section of the main catalogue. What I need is a way to disable the Search facility from not searching the 'Local' catalogue from the main catalogue. Also I need a way to delete/hide the Site Map button so that the Site Map isn't displayed.

Hi Elfyn,

You can disable the search and site map by removing the buttons from the navigation.
Go to Design | Options | Navigation. Look for the search and site map icons. Remove the images and descriptions.

You will also need to remove the simple search from the catalog. Depending on what theme your using, open either Act_Primary.html or Act_Header.html and comment out NETQUOTEVAR:SIMPLESEARCH.
