    Script error

    Hi,

I had the fragment bug which I've managed to get rid of by updating to the Patch 7.0.1 but now get a script error which says

    Line 11
    Char 1
Error 'ad' is null or not an object
    Code 0
    Url file://C:\ProgramFiles\Actinicv7\Sites\Site1\PreviewHTML\P_index.html.

Any ideas (in novice terms please) how I can find out what this problem is/get rid of this problem?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Carole

You seem to have a javascript error message. It would be easier, if you could attach your Act_Primary.html to this thread, so we can have a look, and see where the error is coming from.

The Act_Primary.html can be found from the following: C:\Program Files\Actinic v7\Sites\Site1

I suggest you place all the Act_Primary*.html files within a zip file and attach it to this thread.

                Hi Carole

Looking at your site, i don't seem to get this error message. So do you have an example of where the error occurs on your website?

                Kind Regards

                  Hi Nadeem,

Thanks for your help. The script error seemed to appear anytime so I have now deleted everything that I was working on at the time of the fragment bug and this seems to have done the trick.

Just to confirm what I think others have reported on the patch I have found:-

                  The fragment problem

The 'cut' doesn't work and have to use housekeeping/purge to delete (this is still intermittent in the pending credit card details for some reason. Marks it as ready to delete and goes through the motions but doesn't always remove highlighted items)

The updates seem to hang and take longer than before (sometimes timing out - checked with server people and this shouldn't be the case)

Can't do snapshot from the menu. Starts off OK and after a couple of minutes get thrown out with a message Actinic had to close.I've tried closing down other programs (not that I've ever had to before) but to no avail. This is the most annoying fault of all!

Hope to see another patch soon!

                  Carole

                    HI Carole,

Normally Actinic releases a patch within a 3 month periods, so we are hoping for the next patch to be available in September. Of course, the date can change if anything major has been found

                    Kind Regards
