    Order Receipt - Act_Order04

    Hi,

A easy question for you actinic development guys

I want to add the product reference to the order receipt code.

Any ideas what the name of the variable is.

You can have the product reference appear by un-electing 'Hide Product Reference in Online Catalog' in 'Business Settings | Options'.

This will display product references throughout the store - including the receipt.

You can hide references for just the products by going to 'Design | Text' and clicking 'Go to'. In the ID field, enter... '65'. You highlight the following:

    Ref: %s

Just delete it to hide references against products.

      Hi,

If change all the automatically created references to my own product references what happens to the references the catalogue has already generated? Do these get overwritten?

      Thanks
      Darren

No - they'll stay as they are.

So if a reference code is generated by the system called 206, I want to change that code to reflect the product GH1322, i make the change but the system is going to stay as it is?

          Wouldnt have thought thats correct?

                Chris,

You may have just solved a big issue for me.

Please could you confirm that by doing this, the first step displays the product reference (which I have tried but did not like) and the second step means that on the store pages the product reference is hidden.

The net effect to the user is the same as having the product References hidden - but they are included in the emails.

                Many thanks
                Niall

Basically yes - although the prodrefs will also appear within the online shopping cart as well.
