ASCII codes in fragments

Hi all

I am able to paste the 'one-half' symbol into a brochure fragment, but cannot seem to find a keystroke to do it. I could get the client to put in an HTML wrapper comment and & #189; but that seems a bit awkward.

Does anyone know a keyboard means of inserting ASCII characters within the Actinic application?

Hold down 'Alt' on your keyboard and then type '0189'

I thought I'd tried that! Have tried again, and it works, but only off the number pad, not the number keys along the top of the keyboard.

I think I'd tried alt 0189 on the number pad on my client's machine also and the alt stroke activated the Actinic menus?!? Maybe the focus wasn't on the textbox.

I need to try again to be sure. I feel stupid!
