close site for vacation

Hi everyone,

I am going on vacation and want to close the site down for the time I will be gone. Is there anyway, other than suspending orders, or a place/way I could place information about my vacation on the site so it will be seen on every page. I don't ant potential clients to think I am not in business.

I am using Clean Layout 4 with quantity on product page.

Try placing a message within the Design | Options | Shop Defaults tab's header and footer along the lines of...

<font color="red"><b>The site is open, but orders processed on dateTBC</b></font> which should then show on most pages of the site, plus you could do the same within...

View | Business Settings | T & Cs tab, enable Display Marketing and edit what is shown in there also as per above..

Should do the trick..
