Text Alt Tags

Hi there,

In a vain attempt to crawl our way up the search engine rankings i would like to put some alt text on my text links.

This is no prob with images but i'm having a bit more trouble with text.

So, my question basically, is there any way i can add alt text to my text links in the main navigation bar.

Yes you can add alt like text to lots of tags but using the title attribute

e.g.
<A HREF="shop.html" TITLE="buy now!">shop</A>
