HELP! shopping cart problem - no one can place orders

    Hello,

    I have 2 sites: www.bonniesgifts.com and www.bonnies-gift-shop.com

I am using clean layout 4 with quantity on product page

Both sites are doing the same thing:
When a customer adds a product to their cart, takes them directly to this page
    http://www.bonniesgifts.com/cgi/ca000001.cgi or http://www.bonnies-gift-shop.com/cgi/ca000001.cgi

And when you either wait for the browser to go to next page or click the |here|to go to next page it is taking them here:
http://www.bonniesgifts.com/acatalog - which is a log in page from a different web site
http://www.bonnies-gift-shop.com/acatalog - which goes to the directory of my site on my host

    Can someone PLEASE help!!!

    Thanks
    Bonnie

If these sites are on the same server then the problem could be that you're using the same script ID number on both sites. This would lead to the scripts overwriting each other.

If this is so then set one of your Script ID Numbers to 2 (Advanced / Network Setup) and refresh both sites to clear things up.

Help? shopping cart problem - no one can place orders

      Hi Norman,

Changing one of the scripts to |2|seemed to fix one site: www.bonniesgifts.com However, the other site: www.bonnies-gift-shop.com is still directing potential customers to the |Parent directory|

      Any other suggestions?
      Thanks

Help! shopping cart problem - no one can place orders

        Hi again Norman

I have been playing around with www.bonnies-gift-shop.com (regarding the redirection when an item is placed in a customer's cart) and it may be the Norton Internet Security Professional I have installed. If that is true, how do I work around that. Other people may also have it installed on their computer. When I disable the Norton, the page goes where it is supposed to go.

I read another post from someone where it said to go to |Design|Options|Miscellaneous| and tick the |No frames in checkout| which I have done for both sites: www.bonniesgifts.com and www.bonnies-gift-shop.com but it is still directing it to my |parent directory| Before I had them both with the |no frames| not ticked and an |aborted url| filled in.

        Hope you can help
        Thanks so much

          Bonnie,

Actinic does not do a complete upload every time. It saves timewasting by just uploading what is necessary. Sometimes it may not realise that a change requires an update.

Occasionally it is best to do a complete refresh - the command below the update.

This takes a long time but generally sorts a lot of minor glitches.
