order numbers

Hi

We have built and actinic store for one of our customers. We regularly do updates for them however when we have done the alts, we dont upload from our end, we copy the site folder across to our customers computer and they upload and collect orders etc.

we seem to have a problem though, whenever we transfer the site across to our customers computer, it resets the order numbers to what they are on my comp. Is there a file that stores the order number that we edit to marry up?

Copying the site folder is causing the problem as the orders are stored within the main database. If you wish to stop this, you will need to do your alterations, and create a snapshot (File | Snapshot | Export Site), send it to the customer, they can then import it (File | Snapshot | Import Site), crucially there is a tick box that asks them if they wish to overwrite the orders, by default it does not.
