Server ran out of disk space error

My client is getting this error. Has anybody any idea why?

Clean up your disk space on the web server
Contact your service provider and have them
clean up some disk space

Command: create Filename: diffprod.fil

Hello Jenny

Do you know much disk space you have available, and how big your site is?
Have you tried deleting any old/unused files or folders from the server?

The .fil file that is mentioned is a fiel that is generated on refresh of the website, and for some reason its having a problem creating it...

One thing to try could be to refresh all these files altogther, and delete off any old ones off the server.

To do this -

Ftp to your server
Go to your acatalog folder
Find and delete all the *.fil and *.cat files

Then -

On your local machine
Go to your site1 folder
Find and delete all the *.fil and *.cat files

Then -

Go into Actinic
ANd do a Web | Refresh Website

Do you still get the disk space error?

Server space used 107.2 MB of 200.0 MB and approx 50% of bandwidth
I have asked the guy to bring me his laptop, for me to check things for myself. Asked him to do a refresh but am awaiting his reply. He said he was doing no updates, just orders and it happended.
Need to see for myslelf.

Does that server space include his log files, emails and web stats as well, or just the acatalog folder content??
