Also it would be nice to have the insurance bands seperated out as an 'added' value item to an order. So a person would buy 1st Class Post, then ADD the signed for option AND the insured up to £500.

That is the way the post office works.

You are right about 'registered', but the shipping import files are for 'recorded' - see http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/j...1&catId=400028
