Reverting to V6

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on reverting temporarily back to V.6 after a V7 upgrade.
I need to fix a few compat probs using V7. I presume I can open V6 on the desktop and refresh/upload v6 from there - any advice would be appreciated

Hi Patrick,

It should be possible to revert back to V6 from V7 if you still have both programs on your computer. The only problems I can see with this is there will be an inconsistency of orders downloaded into the different versions.

The first step would be to upload your V7 site with the ordering suspended (View | Business Settings | Ordering). Leave it say 30 mins so your customers can finish off shopping. Then download any orders.

You can now open V6 and go to Web | Refresh Web Site to fully upload your V6.

Place a test order to make sure everything running smoothly.
