Description in shopping cart

Hi.

I have a question about product descriptions in the shopping cart.

For some of the products, I have had to add components and choices and some are just simple products.

Examples:
http://www.ukdesignweb.co.uk/~portab...alog/Flat.html this is using component and choices

http://www.ukdesignweb.co.uk/~portab..._Adaptors.html this is just a simple product.

In the shopping cart, if you add some of each of the above, the description for the product with the component and choices is fine, it is how it should be. But the product which is simply a product, you only get the Short Description which in this case, is a product reference number.

I don't want to add the full description to the short description as this will upset the apple cart so to speak and affect the layout and look.

Anybody have any suggestions.

Hi Ben

I'm afraid that it is the short description that is shown for the products in the shopping cart.

The only thing I can recommend is give each of your 'normal' products a zero-value component simply so you get the component name appearing in the shopping cart.
