Placing images in drop down menus

I would like to be able to insert a small "NEW" .gif next to my choice names for our producs, however even though I have tried straight and Actinic HTML in the HTML for name box it won't work. I've used the !!<<>>!! tag, and the !!<>!! tag with the full address to our image inside, but no go.

Is there any way to get this to work?

    Thanks!

You don't need the !!< and >!!. HTML should work fine.

Are you sure that your image has been uploaded?

You may need to upload it via Advanced / Additional files.

You should also put a copy in PreviewHTML if you want it to show up on the previews.

Post a URL of a faulty page so we can see.

      Hi Norman,

None of those things have worked for me so far. Check out this product:

      http://www.uniformcorner.com/~unifor...8219P_20Landau

and look at the first choice called "Brittany"

Right now the HTML name is set to say:

      Brittany <img src="http://www.uniformcorner.com/~uniformc/acatalog/new.gif">

I have also tried linking it to a directory outside of acatalog as well, but that doesn't work either.

      What do you think? Thanks!

        Now I see what's happening.

You can't have images as part of the drop down text in a <SELECT...> statement. You can only have plain text here. You'd have to change the Attribute to use Radio Buttons in order to embed HTML for images.

PS Sorry I didn't notice this sooner. I read the text of your post and failed to notice that you were using drop downs in the posts subject.

Darn that's too bad! I want to put in a request for it in future versions. Our image was so small it wouldn't have been a big deal.

          Thanks for your help!
