attribute & choice not updating

I've changed details in an attribute and choice of a product - they appear correctly when working in catalog - however the changes don't show on the preview or online. (yes I've uploaded!)

any ideas appreciated

What should it be displaying?

Could be your internet browser caching the old page, try deleting your temporary internet files, usually Tools | Options | Delete files... in Internet Explorer.

Then try viewing your web page again.

James, thanks for the swift reply but cache is not the problem....

this is displaying:

Grit
80 coarse (6050)
100 coarse (6051)
120
150 medium (6053)
220 fine (6055)
one each (6055)

I have changed it to this in catalog

Select grit
80 coarse (6050)
100 coarse (6051)
120 medium (6052)
150 medium (6053)
220 fine (6054)
one of each grit (6055)

if you see the top version then the problem remains

If you have a look at the choice '120 medium (6052)', you should see that is the Choice Name.

What do you have set for the HTML for Name in the choice, as that the the text that will displayed on this webpage for that particular choice.

sorted by deleting component and choices and then re-entering.

You can recreate problem by adding a component and choice and then editing - the edits won't display.

Where were you making the edits in the choice?

If you make the changes in the HTML for name field, then the changes will be visable on the site.

If you are just changing the Choice Name field, then the change will be visable in Actinic, but not on the web page of the product.
