    Checkout layout

    Hi.

I have managed to change my shopping cart so it fits in with the rest of the site, but my checkout pages are still up the creek.

Which templates do I need to use to change the layout of the Checkout pages?

I only want to make simple changes: make the whole table 800pixels wide and centre it.

I have tried opening so many templates but I can't quite find the ones.

    Thanks

    Ben.

If you download the advanced user guide from the actinic site this has an appendix in the back that will tell you what each template does (along with loads of other useful stuff). Also in actinic you can go to advanced | template manager (make sure you are on the gray boxes window) and choose the ordering tab.

Clicking on the buttons will then open the order process pages in your text editor.

      Hi Kevin

Thanks for that advice. The advanced user guide is pretty useful if only for the appendix at the end.

I am still having problems finding where to change the table size though. Am I right in thinking it is Act_OrderXX etc? I have changed the table width in here but it makes no difference at all.

      Thanks

      Ben.

yes you need to edit Act_OrderXX.html...Ive had nightmares with them as well, make sure you still haven't got width=customvar:actstdwidth in there somewhere.

          Hi Ben,

You can try changing ACTSTDWIDTH in design | options | site defaults. There are two custom properties - ACTSTDWIDTH sets table width which is 600 by default.

This may alter other pages as well so it may be safer to go to advanced | template manager | ordering, click on the cart table grey button and remove 'table width="CUSTOMVAR:ACTSTDWIDTH" ' and replace it with your settings to override just the cart table?

          Cheers, Kevin

            Hi

Thanks for your replies. I have sorted it now.

It was a problem with one customwidth which I had missed. Typical, you spend hours trying to solve a problem then it jumps out and hits you.

            Cheers

            Ben.
