newsletter

hi again
i have looked at previous posts and still don't know what to do. i would like to put on my front page a simple box where customers can type there e mail address and apply to have a newsletter sent out to them every now and again.
does anyone know how or what software can be used to do this, preferably a free one.

To achieve this, you will have to create a custom form and incoporate the code in your home page template.
