Free shipping message in cart

Is it possible for Actinic to display a message to the customer when checking out or viewing their cart which informs them that they need to spend 'x' amount in order to get free shipping? (depending on what it's set at)

The idea is simply to get the customer to order more and increase average customer transaction values

Hi there,

Although there is no direct way of doing this, you can still achieve by following these steps.

1. Go to 'View | Product Groups' and group all the products in Catalog to a group. (E.g. Special)

2. Go to 'View | Discounts and Surcharges Settings | Cart Contents' and create a 'New Discount' based on 'Value Excluding Tax' at Trigger '£50.00', Reward '£ Off' and Reward Amount '£10.00'

This would display a message at 'View Basket' and 'Checkout' (see Image1.gif)

Also, to provide 'Free Shipping' for Value more than £50, go to 'View | Business Settings | Shipping and Handling', select 'Total Value' and tick 'Free Over' and enter £50.
