Offering a gift wrap option

I want to offer my customers the option to have their item or multipl items giftwrapped. Does anyone do this and how??

I'm not sure if you can do it in V5 but in version 6, you can add optional extra's to products... (see an example @ http://www.supporthelpdesk.co.uk/aca...d_Ons.html#a11).

Failing that... i'm not sure, since i havent used version 5 for ages.

You use Components for this. They're in V5.

They have a checkbox for selecting them and you can give them a name like "Tick for Gift Wrapping at £2.50". You then give that component a value of (say) £2.50 and set the product to be priced at the sum of product and component prices.

Just right click your product and choose New Component. Note that you don't get the extra dialogue regarding Component pricing until after you've created a component.
