Coupon Discounts not showing

Hi

I've just created a coupon discount for my site, I have enabled the discount based on cart value, and requiring a coupon code.

I then go to the checkout, input my coupon code but no discount.

I have tried numerous options but have not been able to get the discount to show.

The coupon code is recognised because if I put in a ficticious code the site tells me that the code was not recognised, please re-enter.


Any Ideas?

Is it possible for you to list out the exact steps taken to set up the discount functionality, so we can try to determine a possible missing link.
Also can you put up an example coupon code for us to test ?

I have set up the following code ls1 for you to try, this should give you a measly £0.05 off any order.

These are the parameters I have used.

Discount Discrition = Shipping Refund
Properties = Enabled, Based on Cart Values Plus Actual tax, Amount
Requires coupon code = ls1
Triggers = Cart Value £10, Amount £0.05
No Restrictions

Please try it, it doesn't work for me, could it be something to do with my setting?

I checked your website, the coupon code discount indeed did not work. However, I tried replicating the issue with my default V7 site and it works for me. I am attaching a screen grab of the checkout page with the order adjustment displayed.

Can you try a different coupon code say 123456 and see if that works?

Yes it works with a set of numbers, as far as I can make out, any numbers.

But i can't get it to work with a mixture of letters and numbers, is this a bug?

Just to chip in, I can get it to work with no problems with 'ls1' as the coupon code so I don't know why your site is not letting you.

You could try creating a second test discount using 'ls1' as the coupon code and see if that still does not work.
