New Brochure page available in Online Catalog

Im thinking about adding a Help page and a Privacy page to our online store, however if i create this as a new brochure page it is available on the home page, but not when browsing the products.

Is there anyway to create seperate pages that are available throughout the entire site?

Hi,

Brochure pages are not considered part of the shop, however, you can hard-code the links into your primary templates to link to these pages from the shop. The link you would use would be something like:

<a href="yourdomain.co.uk/acatalog/pagename.html">link text here</a>

easier still if you put the link(s) in the header or footer . . .

Hi,

If the site is not live then the link won't work in preview because it will actually look at the server for this page - you will only be able to really test it out when it is on the server. I would also add 'http://' to the link so it looks like:

<a href="http://www.jpthornhill.co.uk/acatalog/about_dyslexia.html">.

If you want to test your site out before uploading it to your live space then you could register for 30 days free trial here. You would have to temporarily change this link to the address of the trial server and then change it back when you are ready to go live.
