Product upselling in v7?

In my mind I was under the impression that upselling products - i.e. putting 2 or 3 recommended products at the bottom of each product page was a new standard feature within v7. Was I dreaming this and therefore I need to head off to Norman's site and buy his plug-in that does it??

Upselling is not a standard feature of v7. You can check out Norman or this site http://www.ecommerce.uk.com/actinic_plugins.html, the choice is yours to make.

The other option which is cheap at £75 is Norman Rouxells 'Upsell Addon '

I have just finished installing it on the JewelleryShop.net and it works a treat!

Thanks for the advice - indeed Norman's plug-in looks great.

Does anyone know if the related products can sit beneath the main product in a horizontal row?

His product comes with 2 templates - one to sit products to the right and one to sit them beneath the main product - so it should all be done for you!.

If you have amended your own product template you'll need to tweak his to ensure that your main products continue to be displayed correctly (this isn't difficult though if you know any HTML)
