    Creating Additional Sites in Developer

We've just downloaded the 30-day trial Actinic Developer v7 and cannot find how to create additional sites.

There isn't a 'save as' option on the File Menu or an 'open' to select which site to work on [if or when we have other sites].

The 'sites' button on the File menu is greyed out - is this because we are using the trial version?
We've created additional folders Site 2, Site 3, etc in windows explorer but these are not being recognised by File | Sites [possibly because they are empty folders]

We would like to have a few test sites to hop between so that we can recreate parts of existing clients sites partly to learn how Actinic works and secondly to explore how feasible it would be to recreate existing site designs

    [A bit of a silly question I know ]

    Many thanks

    Hi,

Yes, I believe this is a restriction of the trial version. Creating new sites in the full version is very easy and works just as you would hope. We have multiple developments running all the time.

Recreation of existing site designs (Actincified) is feasible but you need to get into manual template modification to really make Actinic work the way you want.

Here's a couple of reference sites we integrated Actinic into:

    www.crombie.co.uk
    www.bonasana.com

    and one that's completely Actinic:

    www.discount-aromatherapy.co.uk

    Cheers

      Multiple Sites

      Hello IMIS

      Many thanks for your reply.

We suspected that the trial version may be limited to one site but were not sure.

We've quickly looked at your sites and they certainly inspire and confirm the potential of Actinic and that it is worthing spending the time [and dosh] on!

      Thanks again
